Road conditions are good, however one should note of heavy traffic jams near Bharuch/Ankleswar on Narmada Bridge.
Pack with lots of water and Juices to avoid any dehydration for long drives

Restrict yourself to speed limits even if the roads invite you to floor the pedal.
Drive carefully on Mumbai Pune Expressway, especially if this is your first time. Some high speed ghats section and tyre burst issue can hamper your safety.
